Calendars 2019

As I mentioned in my previous post, I decided to make some of my Christmas gifts for Christmas 2018. For my Mum and Ann I decided to make Calendars, with a stamped image for every month. They are both huge fans of my cards, and in particular my stamped cards, so I thought a calendar would give them a present that would last all year. I tried to make their calendar personal to them, so on their birthday month's the image was for a "Happy Birthday", my Mum's one has a "Happy Mothers Day" for March, Easter, Halloween, Christmas etc. Here are some of the months:

Christmas Presents for 2018

I decided that for Christmas I would make some of my Christmas presents. As well as making Calendars for my Mum and Ann (images to follow on the next blog), I also made two framed decoupage pictures. Here they are:
I made this for my friend Sue who is a massive collector of The Snowman. She absolutely loved this framed decoupage.

I made this for my friend Erica who really loves art and illustrations and is a fan of the Flower Fairies illustrations. After making her a birthday card with the Flower Fairies on and finding out she was going to frame it, I decided to make this framed decoupage of a Flower Fairy for her Christmas Present.

Commissions from 2018

I can finally show you some of the special cards I made for 2018! Each recipient was thrilled with their card, which makes all the effort very worth while!
Enjoy!

Wedding Card for my work colleague Kirsty and her new husband Andy

Birthday Card for my skull loving work mate Tracey

Birthday card for work colleague Chrissie who fell in love with Tracey's birthday card!

Good luck card for my work colleague and dear friend Trudi who was leaving to join the Police. These For the Love of Stamps stamps were perfect as they allowed me to create various "Trudi's" with her different hair colours which made the card extra special.

This was a birthday card commission for a young lady who is very in to make up and fashion. I loved using this For the Love of Stamps set and was very pleased with how the lips/ kisses came out.

Good Luck Leaving Card for my old Boss Alex who was moving on to new adventures. This was a bit of a difficult card to make as I had no idea what to design to do. This set from For the Love of Stamps and the inspiring quote seemed to fit perfectly.

Birthday Card for my Dad's partner using Penny Black Stamps. She loves the little critters in the Penny Black stamps.

Bank Holiday Stamping Fun!

Despite the last Bank Holiday of the Summer falling on a cold, very wet, and very windy weekend, I have been busy at home indulging in one of my favourite crafting activities... stamping! Here are some of my bank holiday weekend makes, including some early Christmas Cards! All the stamps are either Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps, Penny Black or Wild Rose Studio. Enjoy!

This is actually a Barkley Stamp by Crafters Companion!

I am really proud how this came out. Used Hunkydory's new Prism Inks for the Lips /Kisses

Love the singing cat and dog! (For the Love of Stamps).
