I would like to start by wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and saying a big hello to 2016! Christmas was very quiet this year although I did spend some quality time with family and good friends. It was just a shame I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to due to a pesky cold that just won't go away.
I was also a very lucky girl receiving some lovely crafty and creative presents! These included a selection of the new adult colouring books and pens, embellishments for my card making, a gorgeous cushion tray with a light attached so I can be crafting when sitting on the sofa instead of always having to sit at the table (its nice sometimes to craft and watch a good film at the same time!), and thanks to some Christmas money and the Sales I also have some new stamps from Crafters Companion, the Little Book of Babies from Hunkydory and loads of different card stock (mirri, pastel, brights, gingham, rainbow) from Create and Craft on its way! Very excited and cannot wait until the postie delivers it all!!
I didn't just get craft stuff for Christmas. I also got some lovely new books (fiction and history), Michael McIntyre's, Dara O'Brien and Russell Kane's new stand up DVDs, the Ministry of Sound's 90s CD and lots of other goodies! As I said I was a very lucky girl!
Looking forward to 2016 I am very excited about making lots of new cards, and developing my crafting. I am hoping to learn how to use my Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers better, and I will finally get the chance to play with and learn how to use my new Spectrum Aquas. In addition I also have a set of watercolour pencils that I am desperate to try. I have the stamps, the correct paper for each medium, new brushes and the pens/pencils. I just need the time now to sit and play!! So excited!!
Well, thats all for now. I promise to update with crafty adventures and photos of my creations soon!
I hope 2016 is full of crafty goodness for you!
